Our debut album “A Long Time Listening” is a tribute to my father Örn Jóns Petersen, whom we lost to cancer in 2006. At the time of his death, my family and I lived in Denmark, but being Icelandic, his funeral was held in Iceland and I made the extremely difficult decision to stay behind in Iceland and not return with my family.

I was only going to live there for a couple of years, to learn to live on my own, but fate led me to my brothers in Agent Fresco in 2008 and gave me a life-changing opportunity to convert sorrow and anger into something creative.

Two years in the making, the result was “A Long Time Listening”.

Although time off on a tour is an absolute luxury, getting to travel to places that you normally would have no time or money to go to is an extreme privilege and by seeing pictures of the landscape and atmosphere of Vinjerock, we know that this will without a doubt be a special experience for all of us.

To be performing for the first time in Norway on such a stage and at such a festival is humbling, we can’t wait.

Although not a single material, as they say, we deeply love our ending song on A Long Time Listening and had a concept ready, when approaching the brilliant guys at Zetafilm and Abza, which they completely made real. We are very proud of this video.

Our debut album “A Long Time Listening” will at long last be self-released through Rocket Girl and distributed by Rough Trade on
May 18th.

It is being physically distributed as CD/Vinyl in Germany, Austria, Switzerland
and Denmark and released worldwide digitally through almost every
online music platform.

Due to this, the following European tour dates have been confirmed with a focus on D, A, CH and DK and more to be announced later. On a personal note, we would love to play everywhere, but these are difficult times financially and we are pretty much controlling this ourselves and are often limited with possibilities, every effort is always made into one day being able to perform everywhere, but here are the tour dates so far for the first part of the summer:

We have been doing this on and off during special occasions, with this starting way back, when we did a semi acoustic project for the city of Reykjavík back in 2009.

Extremely proud of how we transformed these songs into a plugged versions and with us will be five beautiful strings.

Warming up is our good friends in Eldar (featuring Valdimar of the band).

This is going to be something special and we would love to see everyone there.
